Differentiating Link Types

Description: To make campaign analytics clearer throughout the ProFundCom platform, “Link” engagements have now been split in to two types.
- “Link” – normal Link engagements where a recipient clicks on a link in an email sent from ProFundCom
- “External Link” – where somebody clicks on a ProFundCom link NOT sent as part of a ProFundCom email. For example, a link created using the Link Wizard and hosted on a website or social media platform
Similarly “Document” engagements have been split into “Document” and “External Document”.
This makes it much easier to distinguish engagement driven by email campaigns from “background” engagement coming from other sources – giving a better picture of the effectiveness of different approaches
